The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)

ASHRAE was formed as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers by the merger in 1959 of American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHAE) founded in 1894 and The American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE) founded in 1904.

QUIZO-2023

Mechanical Engineering Department of Aditya Silver oak Institute of Technology hosted a quiz competition (Quizo-2023) under the banner of ASHRAE Western India Chapter on 1st March 2023 under the guidance of faculty coordinator Prof. Hitesh Prajapati.

QUIZO-2022

The Mechanical Engineering Department of ASOIT took the diligent initiative and organized the fifth Quiz competition entitled “Quizo 2022”, in association with ASHRAE-WIC (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers-Western India Chapter) on 2nd March 2022. Quizo is a technical quiz competition of ASHRAE student members at premier engineering colleges in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The quiz was carried out in three rounds general round, rapid-fire and buzzer round in which multiple choice questions and Audiovisual questions were asked to participate. After three different rounds between the four teams conducted in two stages and final round was played and on its result winning team was decided. Aditya Silver Oak Institute of Technology team secured 2nd rank and won the cash price of Rs. 15,000/-.

QUIZO-2020

In QUIZO-2020 event, the students of Mechanical Engineering Department of Aditya Silver Oak Institute of Technology participated in Nirma University. In this event, Shreyansh Tilva and Harsh Rana has secured 1st rank and win the cash price of Rs.20,000 among top engineering colleges in ASHRAE-WIC region (comprising of Gujarat and Indore).under the guidance of Prof. Hitesh Prajapati and Prof. Mit Patel.

Regional Level ASHRAE – RAL Competition

RAL is an event where participants show the presentation skills and knowledge and ideas in the field of HVAC with the help of their of their presentation skills.

E-poster competition to celebrate Engineer's day

HVAC can play an important role in preventing the virus that causes COVID-19 from spreading indoors. To understand the role of HVAC in COVID-19 transmission, ASHRAE-WIC would like to take an important step to enlighten the ideas and visual presentation of candidates in the form of E-Poster. The competition is organized by ASHRAE-WIC as a part to celebrate the Engineer's day i.e. known for the birth anniversary of Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
