Who should join?
- ATV Stands for All Terrain Vehicle which can run on any kind of terrain.
- SAE-Society of Automotive Engineers which is world level organization.
- BAJA SAEINDIA is ATV racing championship organised by SAEINDIA at Indore every year.
- Total team of 25 students from various semesters need to build an off road vehicle within a span of 3 months
- Cost to build 1 ATV is 9 to 10 Lakhs
- All the expenses from manufacturing the ATV to participating in the nationwide events are borne by College Management.
- SAE members have off the track opportunities of placement in reputed companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Polaris, J K Tyres, Cummins, John Deer & Altair, ARAI, Speed Lubricant, Oyo Rooms, Michelin, Ansys, Briggs and Stratton
- Placements are very easy if student opt for this club (One of Our Student member got placed in Germany Stuttgart in Design field with very good package)
Learning Outcome:
- During the design of ATV, students gain exposure to modern tools of analysis and design, like Solid Modelling and FEA Software
- It enables student to communicate and compete with global level student community
- The students conjure a very high 'Technical Quotient' while engaging in design and manufacture of the ATV. Owing to the platform provided by the Club, the students get an opportunity to work hard and learn very important concepts of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering
- The students develop a valuable quality of solving problems on their own, thus preparing them to become successful professionals in the future
